Over the centuries feminism has been a longstanding movement in history which still continues today. Issues surrounding the plight of women still raise questions and conflicting solutions have been offered over the years on what a woman is and how a woman should live.

Are women really equal to men? How do they fit into God’s story, as reflected in our society and day-to-day lives? And, therefore, what respective roles are they to play? Most of all, how can a woman flourish in this day and age and beyond?

Join us at YesHeIs, in partnership with A Woman’s Forum, as we explore God’s high purpose for women in a talk entitled, “Living by Order and Design in an Age of Feminism” where speaker Earl Beja-Paolo will debunk some of the modern myths of feminist thought next to the Biblical view of human flourishing.

Earl will be joined by panelists Joanna Barotilla and Ali Kennedy for a live Q & A discussion hosted by Kathleen Medina, where they will engage in this important topic and seek to give real-time answers to these present-day questions.

The event will take place via Zoom on Thursday, 6 August 2020, from 6 PM - 7:30 PM Manila Time.

In our advanced modern world, subjective freedom and full self-expression are among its highest ideals. This has led to much confusion and division in the Church on how to think about and approach the issue of homosexuality.

Join us this Saturday as we listen to Carla Peña share about "Why I am a Former LGBTqi: Rediscovering What it Means to be Known, Loved, and Accepted".

During the forum, there will also be a live Q&A with panelists Lizza Juarez and Ali Kennedy. Earl Beja-Paolo will facilitate the discussion as they wrestle through some of the most common objections to what the Bible teaches on homosexuality:

• If people are born gay, why wouldn't God accept them for who they are?

• What's wrong with a same-sex relationship if it is loving, faithful, and permanent?

• Why doesn't Jesus mention homosexuality?

In A Woman's Forum Live, we seek to give real-time answers to these present-day questions.

This forum is for those who want to be equipped to know how to respond to loved ones who identify as homosexual, those who are struggling with same-sex attraction, as well as those who are curious to find out how the Gospel could possibly be good news for a gay person.

For centuries, finding one’s purpose in life has been at the heart of human pursuits. No one, no matter who you are or where you come from, can escape this fundamental and universal question. And yet, finding one’s true calling is a subject that is bewildering for many. Many misconceptions around the topic keep many of us confused, stagnant and stuck.

So what is the true nature of our calling? Where does it come from? Can it really be ‘found’ or are there other perspectives we need to consider? Where do we find answers to life’s deepest and most fundamental questions?

Join us as we think things through together regarding the very meaning and purpose of life at our upcoming A Woman’s Forum Special Edition with Os Guinness, international speaker, social critic and author of The Call, on Saturday, June 27th at 7:30pm via Zoom. Limited slots only!

If you want to know the secret of the mystery of your very being and rise to become what you were called to be, we sincerely want to see you there!
